5 Day / 4 Night Jungle Tour Sapino Amazon Camping

Day 1

8am Meet in the Hostel in Tena, 9am depart for 30 min private car ride to Puerto Misahualli, enjoy Paicawe Lagoon, 12pm have Lunch, 2pm depart in a rowing canoe to see the paiche -the largest fish in the Amazon, birdwatching, and night sailing

 

Day 2

8am Breakfast, 9am depart by private car to Minipare Community, 1pm Box Lunch, 3-4 hour trek through the jungle, arrive at 5-6pm at the Huaorani camp, 7pm evening snack, listen to stories of the Huaorani and uncontacted tribes.

 

Day 3

8am Breakfast, 9am depart with a Huaorani guide to experience life in the jungle - gather fruits, make jungle baskets, hunt with a blowgun, extract poison from frogs, return to camp at 12pm for lunch, 2pm depart for a jungle walk to see parrots, snakes, monkeys and other animals, return to camp for dinner at 6pm, Night walk to see alligators, frogs and snakes.

 

Day 4

8am Breakfast, 9am departure to Sapino river for piranha fishing and walk through the jungle, Box Lunch, return to camp at 7pm for dinner and talk.

 

Day 5

8am Breakfast, 9am depart from camp to Minipare Community for private transport back to Tena
