4 Day / 3 Night Jungle Tour Cuyabeno

Day 1

Depart from Lagro Agrio to accommodations at the Cuyabeno Lodge, a 2 hour journey by motorized canoe. Lunch, depart for a guided jungle walk to observe the animals of the Wildlife Reserve on the Cuyabeno River.
Night: Departure for a night walk through the jungle, to observe insects, arthropods, amphibians and reptiles, dinner.

 

Day 2

8am Breakfast, full day canoe trip to the headwaters of the Cuyabeno River, enjoy the tranquility of the remote jungle and see the fauna and flora throughout our journey. Box Lunch, continue by canoe to do sport fishing, opportunity for swimming in the Cuyabeno River, surrounded by an amazing landscape. Evening departure by canoe to discover the alligators.

 

Day 3

8am Breakfast, depart at 9am to the Puerto Bolívar community to learn about their habitat and culture of the Siona, making and tasting of traditional yucca bread, optional shamanism, look for anacondas, poisonous frogs and pink dolphins.
Afternoon, Box Lunch at the beautiful Cuyabeno lagoon and seeing the oldest trees (Macrolobios), Return to our Lodge.

 

Day 4

5:30am Breakfast, paddle on the Cuyabeno River to admire the magnificent sunrise and listen to the sounds of the Amazonian animals, return to the lodge. Depart to the Cuyabeno River bridge at 11 am and back to Lago Agrio.
